Animals

Llwyn Glas is home to many animals, most of them pleasant and soul-quenching.

I have a dog (Archie) who you'll probably see around. Under no circumstances throw him the stick he offers you - you'll never be rid of him.

There is also a cat (Binny), inherited with the house, who is perfectly lovely and strokable, unless you're a small mammal πŸ’€

Next up are the sisterhood - 6 chickens who lay like clockwork and are out whenever the weather is good (unless you want them to stay in). They are pretty sociable and will probably hang out with you if they can. Up to you if you let them out.

Birdlife includes some resident owls, buzzards, a goshawk and barn swallows (sometimes). Pheasants abound.

The fields below the house have cows/ calves and sheep/ lambs. The latter quite often escape and wander around - if they do, just let me know and I'll tell the farmer.

Unpleasant ones? Occasional wasps like everywhere and sometimes midges.
